Investigations

The Investigations division of the Sheriff's Office strives to provide an aggressive and professional approach to crimes committed in Limestone County in an effort to bring a successful conclusion to all victims. While investigators are deputy sheriffs and enforce all the laws of the State of Alabama, they are not assigned patrol duties except in emergencies. The mission of the division is to investigate crimes that are reported to the Sheriff's Office, gather all evidence of the crime, identify witnesses and suspects, make arrests of perpetrators, maintain case files, and offer testimony in all courts of law in a thorough, competent and professional manner.
