Patrol

The patrol division is the backbone and daily public face of the department. Patrol deputies work constantly to ensure the safety and security of businesses, residences, private and public property, and roads. They respond to calls for assistance, compile reports of criminal activity from the community, proactively seek to deter crime through active presence and personal contact, assist stranded motorists, de-escalate domestic and other volatile disputes, ensure traffic safety, execute arrest warrants, serve civil papers, answer alarms, check the welfare of loved ones for those who are unable, provide funeral and domestic escorts, and much more.
